These terms govern the relationship between Shingle Scout ("we," "us") and roofing contractors ("Contractor," "you") who receive homeowner leads through our service. By accepting a lead from Shingle Scout, you agree to these terms.
Shingle Scout sends homeowner quote requests ("leads") that originate from our website within your agreed service territory. Each lead is sent to one Contractor only — never shared or resold to a competing contractor for the same request.
A lead is qualified, and billable, if it includes all of the following at the time it is sent:
A lead is not qualified, and not billable, if:
Pricing per qualified lead is agreed individually with each Contractor in writing before leads are sent, based on territory, project type, and volume. Invoices are issued on an agreed schedule (typically weekly), with payment due per the terms confirmed at signup (typically net 7 or net 14).
If you believe a lead did not meet the qualification criteria in Section 2, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with the reason. Disputed leads that are confirmed not to meet the criteria will not be billed, or will be credited if already invoiced. We aim to resolve disputes within 3 business days.
Leads contain personal information belonging to homeowners who have consented to be contacted about their roofing project. As a condition of receiving leads, you agree to:
Your service territory is defined at signup and may be adjusted by mutual agreement. We do not send a given lead to more than one Contractor.
Either party may end this arrangement at any time with 7 days' written notice. Leads already delivered remain billable under Section 3 regardless of termination.
